Robert Adams Wins Deutsche Borse Prize
American photographer Robert Adams has been awarded the 2006 Deutsche Börse Photography Prize for his exhibition Turning Back – A Photographic Journal of Re-exploration, which shows deforestation and environmental destruction in Oregon.
Adams said he was donating his £30,000 prize to Human Rights Watch, a social justice organization.
